In preparation for the free world preview event, you are invited to download the Game Client. This 90 KB client will allow you to start preloading game assets in preparation for the event.
The Guild Wars World Preview Event takes place October 29 through 31, 2004.
Installation Instructions:
1. Download the client (See Below)
2. Unzip installation file from Zip Archive
3. Run the GWSetup.exe file to and set drive and path for Guild Wars installation (Default location: C:Program FilesGuild Wars)
4. Upon a completed installation Guild Wars will automatically update itself and launch the login screen
Account Creation: Simply launch the game during the Event, Oct 29-31. You will be prompted to provide an email address and to create a password. (The email address will only be used only for password retrieval.) With your login complete, the game will start. Enjoy Guild Wars!
